Jacaranda House Bed & Breakfast

I ended up having to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute, after the host cancelled my booking. I'd booked and paid for three nights, but made a date error without realizing it. I was travelling from the southwest of WA, and the host wouldn't consider my apologies or offers to put things right. They left me standing in the rain with all my belongings getting soaked. I wouldn't recommend the place because of how unreasonably the host handled an honest mistake. I'd originally planned this trip to see friends and family after losing my husband to cancer six months ago. After such a sad and tragic time, this accommodation problem was a devastating blow.

The two cats were so friendly and always happy to be patted. We also had fresh fruit, a washing machine, and thoughtful little touches, right down to Gladwrap. The accommodation was beautifully clean, comfortable, and spacious, which amazed us as first-time B&B guests. It's quiet and bushy, with shops nearby. Thoroughly recommended, and we'll stay again next time we're in Brisbane. Well done.

I was driving to see my son, who asked me 30 days ahead of the stay to cancel and book again later in the year. I emailed Kelly to cancel and asked about a refund. She told me to look at cancellation policy No 3. Her attitude wasn't nice, and it didn't feel like the Australian attitude I know. Too inflexible, and I don't recommend staying here.

The garden and courtyard looked gorgeous, but the weather wasn't good enough for me to enjoy them. A friendly kitty named Mickey came to greet me, which was a lovely bonus. The space was fantastic, clean, spacious, and really comfortable, with all the little extras that made it feel like home.
