Mantra On Edward

Annie and her staff deserve a big thank you for making us feel so welcome throughout our stay. We felt at home as soon as Tenneille greeted us, and Brendan even helped me find my way in the car park. I also really appreciate them recovering my misplaced earrings. The welcome was warm and sustained, and the service was great. Our room was bright, clean and exceptionally well equipped. The kitchen had everything, including a dishwasher, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were soft and inviting. The view was spectacular, and the wide balcony meant we could enjoy some fresh air. I also appreciated how thoroughly everything had been sanitised before arrival, with the utensils wrapped.

This isn't a 5-star hotel, but the room has been clean and comfortable, and the food has been good, amazing compared with what I've seen at other quarantine hotels. The one useful addition I'd suggest is a few more plastic tables for people who need extra work space in their rooms. We're here in government quarantine, and the staff have been so understanding about how hard it is. From the welcoming reception to the lovely officer who took us upstairs, people have made us comfortable and nothing has been too much trouble. Annie is a forward-thinking, empathetic leader with a great customer service mindset. Thanks for leading such an awesome hotel, and thanks, Mantra, for doing what you can to make this stay comfortable.

The room was huge after they upgraded me, and the view was nice. The location was okay, and some staff were a little friendly. But the facilities were in poor shape: the dishwasher made a strange noise, the washing machine had issues, the toilet smelled, and water leaked from the shower. There was also a noisy party downstairs. It could have been a great stay, but they let it down.

The food was okay, though the choices were limited. That was understandable during the pandemic, and we could order Uber Eats or have friends drop things off. We stayed 14 days in quarantine and had a two-bedroom apartment with a lounge, two balconies, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. On the 18th floor, the views were great. The staff were very friendly and even gave our two kids a Christmas gift, which was so kind.
