The apartment was spacious, quiet, comfortable, and private, with good soundproofing. Check-in was easy, and we had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city and close to everything. I'd happily stay again.

The apartment was clean, and the furniture and beds were comfortable. The man we spoke to was pleasant and helpful. The spa and swimming pool were lovely, though the steep steps make them unsuitable for anyone with a disability. Secure parking cost an extra $25 a night and was a bit tricky to find and get into. There were a few restaurants within walking distance, which was handy. We stayed one night in what I think was a two-bedroom unit on the ninth floor, room 903. We specifically asked for a bath and had two bathrooms, but neither the bath nor the basin in one bathroom had a plug. The kitchen plug didn't fit anything either. Staff should check and replace these, but we only discovered it at 9pm, too late to do anything. We paid extra to have a bath, so that was a real letdown at the end of a long day. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, the sparsest I've seen in an apartment. There was no glass or plastic jug to chill water in the fridge, and no plunger coffee pot for the coffee I'd brought to make fresh the next morning. I feel sorry for anyone wanting to cook there. Noise started below at 4am when rubbish trucks collected recycling. For about ten minutes I heard every glass bottle being thrown into the truck, then a nearby worksite started hammering at dawn. It was incredibly noisy, and we were awake very early.

The location made getting around easy, and it’s only a couple of streets from Adelaide, where all the buses stop. The building manager was really helpful when we arrived. I’d stay again and recommend it, though there were only four of each item, cups and plates included, and just one sachet of washing-up liquid. We ended up washing things constantly. Since we were flying around, we didn’t want to buy our own detergent. The owner could add a few more of everything, including wardrobe hangers, and leave more washing-up liquid.

We drove more than nine hours from Sydney, excited to see the fireworks and start our vacation, but ended up booking another hotel at a much higher than average rate after spending over two hours trying to get into our room. We’d booked and paid online beforehand, then arrived after hours and completed the self-check-in details. No further instructions came through. The front desk confirmed the reservation and told us to pick up the key from a key box, but staff had made an error and it wasn’t there. We were asked to wait 15 minutes for someone to call or come help. Nobody showed up. On another call, a different staff member said security would let us in, but that we wouldn’t get a key until Monday because of weekend staffing. We waited 30 minutes, with no one arriving or calling. For more than two hours, we called repeatedly and kept reaching different people who didn’t know what was happening. Each time we had to explain it all again. Staff promised someone would contact us or come assist, but nobody followed through. No one apologized or took real responsibility for sorting it out. The lack of care, accountability, and follow-through was unacceptable. I was extremely disappointed by how unprofessional the team was, and would advise others to reconsider staying here until customer service improves significantly.

I saw the state of reception and didn’t even bother checking in. This felt more like a halfway house than a hotel. Avoid it at all costs.
