The food was one of the best parts of our weekend at Spicers Balfour. Every dish was full of flavour and thoughtfully presented, with the care and quality clear throughout the dining experience. The property is beautiful, blending charm, style and comfort. After our city event, it was peaceful and welcoming to return to, and really felt like a home away from home. The hospitality made the stay feel personal and relaxed. From arrival, the team were warm, professional and attentive to detail, and we felt at ease and valued as guests. It was an unforgettable stay, and we’re already looking forward to visiting again.

The room was comfortable and well equipped, and I especially liked the Leif products in the bathroom. The bathrobe was lovely too. The hospitality on the phone before my stay and when I arrived was warm. I’ll definitely return.

Tom was so friendly and gave us fantastic service. He offered us a seat at the rooftop bar, where the view of the story bridge was amazing. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We’ll definitely be back soon.

This was our sixth time staying here, and our dog is treated like royalty and loves the place. The chef and menu have changed. It was great before, but now the food is next level, with wonderful friendly service.

The hotel shop is comfortable and quirky, and our room felt super luxurious with very comfortable bedding. Staff were friendly and great. Free on-site parking is rare in Brisbane, and from here it’s an easy walk to the valley or Howard Snith Wharves to catch the ferry. Loved it.
