I came for a couple of months and ended up loving the place. It’s one of the quieter hostels in Cairns, with a relaxed kitchen and social space, a nice bar and a good weekly program. The shuttle runs twice an hour into the city centre and goes until late. Had a great time with a big group of lovely people, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The common spaces and pool are great for hanging out, and happy hour drinks are really cheap. It’s a beautiful hostel with a friendly, laid-back feel. I especially liked the yoga and trivia nights in the weekly program. Great choice for backpackers in Cairns.

I first arrived as a guest in September, then extended my stay because I liked the people and atmosphere so much. There’s a pool, bar, plenty of shared spaces and lots of activities, so meeting people is easy. It’s social but still feels organised and well run. The free shuttle to the Night Markets in Cairns city centre takes about five minutes and comes every 30 minutes, which is very handy. The team are consistently friendly and helpful, and the place has a genuinely positive feel. I’d put it among the best hostels in Australia. Highly recommend!

Wonderful team. Leticia at reception was welcoming and kind from the start, and made sure I felt at home. Fernanda, the housekeeper, deserves a mention too. Her hard work kept everything spotless, and she took great care of me.

The city buses came very regularly, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Jenni and Leticia were especially friendly and went out of their way for me during my stay. The hostel is clean and well looked after, with plenty going on. Seems particularly well suited to people staying longer.
