Mantra on Queen

Woolies, Liqourland, Chemist, Brazilian Beauty, Sushi and Subway are all just a few metres away, and the price was good. The customer service was A-mazing, the rooms beautiful and the beds extremely cosy. Loved having a bath, and the gym, sauna and pool were beaut. Had everything I needed for a great city stay. Would come back 😊

James came through when we had a dishwasher debacle, arranged extra towels and sorted out a room make-up. We appreciated that so much after our second 12-hour day at a three-day conference. Nicola was especially welcoming too. We loved the room, with great amenities and a fantastic view. The staff were amazing, and we'll be back! Mandy and Richard

The car park was a complete shambles, with limited spaces and terrible access. I'd look for parking elsewhere, or better still, a different hotel. At check-in, I and several other guests were given keys to rooms that were already occupied. We walked in on people in their underwear, which is a serious privacy and security issue. After nearly three hours, I got a lower-tier room than the one we'd booked and paid for, and couldn't get reassurance that our belongings would be secure or that another guest couldn't walk in. I was promised a refund, but nearly three weeks after the stay nothing had arrived. Five weeks on, still no refund. Management kept saying it had been processed but offered no evidence, then went quiet and stopped answering emails or returning calls.

Parking was tight, and getting there with mapping apps was confusing enough to send us on four reroutes. 😅 Inside, the hotel was spacious and pristine, with a remarkable panoramic view. The staff were hospitable and made the atmosphere comfortable and welcoming. In the end, we were satisfied with our stay.
