Motel on Gregory

Motel on Gregory was a great deal for Brisbane, with friendly staff and a really convenient spot. My friend and I booked at a very reasonable rate, though next time I’d book direct. I was arriving late and my friend the following morning, so after a quick email they arranged one key in the outside safe and another for my friend. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bathroom was clean too, with a pretty powerful shower. Roma Street station and central Brisbane are both a short walk away. At check-in we got a room key and a front door key card that gave us 24-hour access. The staff were friendly, and the included light breakfast was toast, cereal, tea and coffee. Good value for the price. A couple of small things weren't ideal. WiFi only worked downstairs in the lobby, as their website says, though we had 4G in the room. The air-con remote and crockery were a bit too dirty for my liking, but it wasn't a huge issue. 4/5, and I'd stay again in Brisbane. Good for budget travelers.

We had a really happy three-night stay with our toddler, especially for the price. Roma parklands nearby are a must see. The place was clean, comfortable and in good condition, with a decent-sized bathroom and plenty of closet space. The furniture wasn't fancy, but it was comfortable. The air-conditioning and fans kept us Victorians cool. I'd recommend it.

Friendly, helpful staff and nice breakfasts available in the morning. The rooms are comfortable and have the basics, and the location is great. There’s covered off-street parking and elevator access.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the free continental breakfast is a plus. Staff are friendly, though communication could be better. You can only get microwave meals, with no facilities for cooked breakfast or lunch. Parking is limited, so keep that in mind.
