The location felt perfect to me: quiet, with the main part of town only a short drive away. A dog park is about 200m up the street, and a bottle shop and a couple of milk bars are close by too. We had an outstanding dog-friendly stay in a beautifully restored and renovated church cottage. The private covered carport was reasonably secure, and our cottage had a small fenced back porch that was ideal for dogs.

Two nights wasn't enough to see all that Broken Hill, Silverton and the surrounding area had to offer. We'd love to come back with the whole family and stay in the main church accommodation, which Guy and Andrea happened to be in town to show us. WOW! My husband and I stayed in the delightfully cosy Presbytery and were so glad we chose it. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, the furnishings were luxurious and well appointed, and it had everything we needed, plus lovely extras like an espresso machine. The restored timber flooring and stone feature wall looked beautiful against the fresh white walls, and the warm lighting gave the room a romantic charm.

The hostess was very kind and gave us good advice. We'd like to thank her for everything and can recommend this accommodation to all travelers. My wife and I spent two nights at Cottage Stay because there was no room at Church Stay. We live in Austria and sometimes find ourselves surprised by accommodation quality in Australia. After travelling more than 3700 km through the outback and occasionally coming across very run-down hotel rooms, this cozy Australian house exceeded all our expectations. Its cleanliness and equipment were Austrian quality, and it was very good value for money.

It was lovely to have space to spread out, and the location was convenient while remaining very quiet. Communication was fantastic from start to finish. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay. We absolutely loved the Presbytery and would definitely return. The old hymn and noticeboard on the wall added to the delightful 'churchy' feel. The bed was super comfy, the kitchenette had everything we needed, and we were glad to be able to do some washing. The bathroom was huge, bright and light, with a great shower. We especially loved the monogrammed towels.

We stayed in the main residence, which can be arranged as three rooms. The main room has incredible church doors and a huge spa bath. There's also a separate cottage at the back that seems to be a smaller option. Heating and cooling were good, and a lovely bottle of champagne was waiting for us when we arrived. The living and bedroom areas have an old-world grandeur, while the kitchen and bathrooms feel comfortably modern.
