The Brooklet

Our villa had so much to love: indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a gorgeous kitchen, and a magnificent bathtub with a view. We spent plenty of time at the outdoor table taking in the rolling green hills, and the wellness area and pool were stunning. You can book the sauna and plunge pools for undisturbed use. There’s also a lovely bar, communal areas and an outdoor kitchen for functions, so The Brooklet would be great with friends as well as for a couple. Bangalow and Newrybar are nearby, and Broken Head beach is just 15 minutes away. We stayed for part of the Easter kong weekend, at the start of a longer road trip, and were able to relax as soon as we arrived. The care in the details, surrounded by those hills, felt restorative. It was a perfect stay for the two of us, and we can’t wait to return.

Villa 6 was ideal for privacy, with no neighbors on one side and breathtaking sunset views from the terrace. The villa was immaculate, beautifully designed and homely, with thoughtful details and high-end finishes. We loved the comfy bed, outdoor fireplace and deep bathtub with a view. Epsom salt would have been a nice extra. We wished we’d brought vegan marshmallows to have with the excellent local chocolate and crackers from the mini-bar, which were reasonably priced and well chosen. We spent lots of time at the 25m magnesium pool, hot spa, ice bath and infrared sauna. The bar’s comfy chairs and complimentary teas made it another favourite spot. There are still things we’d like to try on a return, including the tennis/basketball court, wood-fired oven in the kitchen and maybe a drive in that Porsche. The adults-only setting was quiet and soothing, even with the grounds looking like a wonderland. Service was warm and genuine throughout. On the new moon night, the stargazing was unreal, and we could almost see the Milky Way. We’re already dreaming of coming back.

The amenities were great to use, and the whole place is an incredible luxury experience. My wife and I stayed for a relaxing wedding anniversary weekend, and it was truly beautiful. The design is so well thought out. You can see the high-quality workmanship in the build, along with the care put into the smaller details. It all comes together wonderfully. Highly recommend.

The wellness facilities and activities were lovely, especially the pool, tennis court and sauna. Our getaway was so relaxing, and we’ll definitely be back. The rooms are gorgeous, the views breathtaking, and The Brooklet exceeded all our expectations. Absolutely divine!
