Kimberley Travellers Lodge - Hostel

We had nowhere to stay, but the manager Daz really helped us out. He and the rest of the crew were friendly and helpful. There's a nice tropical, family-like atmosphere, and it's close to the airport and town centre. Had an amazing stay, definitely recommend. Thanks, guys!

It's a great place to hang out and meet people, with a friendly feel, super helpful staff and an excellent spot near the town centre. Parking is a bit limited, and the kitchen could use some more mugs. Still, I loved the free breakfast and comfy couches. Thanks to Daz and the team for the hospitality.

The pool is lovely, the location is handy, breakfast is fine, and the staff are pleasant. The place is fairly clean too, though people sleep on the sofas and leave belongings scattered upstairs. The main problem is the noise: lots of guests are long-term backpackers, and a small group talks loudly day and night, so getting to sleep is nearly impossible. No one answers the after-hours number either. Maybe stay one night if you’re desperate. It’s a shame, because this could be a really nice place if the permanent backpackers were more considerate.

Darren went out of his way to pick something up for me from the freight facility. I’m very grateful for how quickly and effectively he helped in an emergency. The rooms are basic, but I slept well even with someone snoring, and the USB outlets were handy since I didn’t need to bring power plugs. Keep grooving, it’s one of the loveliest hostels I’ve stayed in, with lots of cosy corners.
