Seashells Broome

I had a wonderful stay here with family. The accommodation was great, the pool lovely, and every staff member was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back.

Deb, Paul and Gareth took such good care of us from the start, and the stay was brilliant. The pool is massive and quiet. There's lots to do, from the croc farm and Pearl farm to camel rides, unreal sunsets, and some great food and drink options.

The location was fantastic. It was an easy five-minute walk to Cable Beach and local restaurants, with Zoo Keepers next door for breakfast and brunch, and dinner now available Friday and Saturday nights. Wharf is just over the road, Spinakers Brewery is two minutes up the road with great food, and Sunset Bar, part of the Cable Beach Resort and Spa, is just across the road and a great spot to watch the camels and sunset. Seriously, I couldn't ask for a better location. We had a spacious, clean two-bedroom apartment at a good price, especially compared with Cable Beach Resort and Spa, where we stayed on a previous visit. It's quieter too, with fewer people staying there. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen very well equipped. There were beautiful tropical gardens, a decent-sized pool with plenty of deck chairs and shade cloth, and a large balcony with a day bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The downside is that our room needs an upgrade, mainly the bathroom and additional toilet, but that wouldn't stop us returning. A lamp in the second bedroom and somewhere to put our luggage would be useful too. There's a general store within walking distance, but it's very limited and expensive. For groceries, it's better to take a bus to Woolworths, with a bus stop very close to the apartments, or a taxi. We took a taxi into Broome, which gave us the opportunity to visit the Saturday market, walk around the shops and go to the supermarkets at the same time. We were only there briefly for a funeral, but plan to return in the near future and will stay at Seashells. Thanks for making our stay so easy and welcoming.

The apartment was set up perfectly for a Cable Beach holiday, with a large bed, hot showers, air conditioning, room to cook and a big deck. The pool was impressive in size too. It's a perfect spot, close to places to eat, within walking distance of the beach, and on the bus route into town. I'd recommend it.
