The Lodge Broulee

The owners were lovely and very hospitable, and I’d happily stay at The Lodge on my next visit to Broulee. I booked a one-bedroom apartment for one night and found it clean, comfortable and well presented. The kitchen was well equipped, though I might have liked a microwave. It has a stovetop and oven, which worked just as well. The lounge was spacious, with an enormous TV in a good spot. Although it’s on the main road, Broulee has so little traffic that there was no road noise. I also highly recommend the delicious Thai takeaway out front, which is part of the motel. Thank you!

The bathroom light’s sensor was too short, so the light would switch off while I was showering. I liked the room layout, with the main bedroom separate from the lounge, spare bed and kitchen, especially when other noisy residents came back late. The curved TV and Tesla superchargers were nice touches.

We stayed five nights and loved the place. It was very quiet, clean and comfortable, like a home away from home. The property has modern facilities inside and out, and the cooking facilities were the best we’ve come across. Staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. If you want a quiet getaway, this is the place. We’ll be back.

The kitchen was very well equipped, and the motel was wonderfully quiet. The accommodation was clean and the beds very comfortable. Marco, the manager, was friendly and welcoming, and pointed us toward somewhere to eat. A couple of small things were missing: there was no shower gel, and a hand towel in the kitchen would have been useful.
