Dusk on the verandah, with Tasmanian cheese and a glass of wine, was a lovely way to take in the river in the distance. Brockley Estate's old sandstone farmhouse has been restored with real care, and our room was luxuriously furnished. The locally sourced food was delicious too. A great place to stay on the way to Tasmania's East Coast.

Julian and Chaxi were such thoughtful hosts, and breakfast came with plenty of delicious choices. My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Corinda House. It's been beautifully restored, and I'd highly recommend staying here.

Our stay in the cottage away from the main property was cozy, and the hosts were very kind. Still, parts of the house seemed to be falling apart, and it felt a little scary at night. I wished the doors had better locks. It was a nice stay, but far too expensive for what it was.

Dinner was a real highlight, with Spanish-inspired multi-course dishes and a wonderfully stocked wine cellar. It was especially welcome since there are so few restaurants within about fifty kilometres. We stayed three nights and were very happy with the place. The hosts were kind, thoughtful and helpful, while still letting guests do as they pleased. They seemed to appear just when I had a question or dinner was about to be served. The 10,000-acre estate feels wonderfully secluded, yet Maria Island and Freycinet peninsula are still an easy drive away. Very well recommended.

That big bedroom feels both luxurious and cosy with the fire crackling away. A very pleasant stay, and I'd definitely come back. Highly recommended.
