The cottage made us feel so welcome over the long weekend, and we can’t say enough good things about it. It’s tucked away in the bush, with an open area where our dog could run around safely. There’s an outdoor BBQ with both gas and fire, a beautiful fireplace, and a very comfortable bed where we slept like babies. The kitchen had everything we could need, and the bath and shower were beautiful. We had wine waiting when we arrived, and really good wineries are only minutes away. Town is just a 5 minute drive. Thanks, Julie. We’re looking forward to coming back soon.

We had a fantastic two-night stay in Calving Gully. The cottage is beautifully designed, and curling up by the fire in the evenings was lovely. It feels secluded, even though Mudgee isn’t too far away. There were lots of personal touches, including a bottle of local shiraz waiting for us. I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the Mudgee region.

A quiet, secluded little hideaway, far enough from town to feel away from it but still close to the wineries. It was a bit dated compared with our last stay 12 years ago, though nothing made it uncomfortable.

Quite a few things weren’t working or hadn’t been provided, and it wasn’t as clean as before. There was no Wi Fi, even though it was advertised as having Wi Fi.
