Sea Mist Palms

We came for a wedding nearby and stayed two nights in the two bedroom apartment, with one queen bed and two single beds. It was a pretty good stay. We arrived around 7:30pm. As requested in the booking details, we called ahead to confirm our late arrival so we could park and get into the building. Gail was understanding and very helpful, and checked us in. The apartment had standard facilities, including a full kitchen for heating or cooking meals. Bring or buy extras like shampoo and body wash. Coles is a convenient 5-7 minute drive away. There’s no elevator, so you’ll need to carry any large bags or luggage. The accommodation is across the street from Tallebudgera Surf Club and a couple of cafes if you want to eat out. Gail gave us instructions for checkout, including cleaning, rubbish and keys. It’s a nice option if you’re staying in the Palm Beach area.

The setup works really well, and the location is hard to beat. I keep choosing this place and would definitely recommend it.

The place was clean and in a great spot, but the checkout charge changed how we feel about staying again. My sister and I were charged an extra $80 because we slept in separate rooms. They mentioned the fee at check-in, but we were confused and said surely that couldn't be right. It was charged anyway. If using the second room costs extra, they should block off that room and bathroom. We won't be back.

The highway traffic was the one drawback, since the noise carried through. Otherwise, the rooms and gardens were meticulously looked after, and the host made us feel very welcome. It's directly across the road from Tallebudgera Beach, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.
