The staff were friendly and knew their stuff, and the location was handy for town. We stayed overnight while visiting Bunbury to catch up with friends, and it was a great choice. The small apartment was surprisingly spacious and clean. There were noticeable stains on part of the carpet, and after a long drive, a couple of bottles of water in the room would have been a thoughtful touch. Even so, we’d definitely stay again.

The course is looking fantastic, though the wind made for a tough day and the greens were lightning quick. Thanks to the pro shop staff for finding a cart so my old man could join me for the back nine at The Sanctuary today. Great service 👍

If you want to book a buggy, good luck. I tried a week ahead and called too, but there was no online option. Apparently you just turn up and walk. The staff couldn’t give a toss.

The food was brilliant, it’s easy to get to, and there’s plenty of parking. I also appreciated the privacy, since I couldn’t hear the neighbours at all. The rooms themselves were a bit dull and shabby, though. They need to focus on the rooms if they want to be a hotel. The vibe I got was that it’s a golf course offering rooms to people who’ve travelled from far away. The hotel feels like an afterthought to the golf course instead of the focus of a resort.

I was only there for a work function. The staff were great, the facilities were adequate for what we needed, and the location was convenient. The golf course grounds are lovely.
