The room wasn't great, with paint peeling off the bathroom walls and more than a few cockroaches around. Road noise and the parking area light, which stayed on all night, made it hard to sleep. I spent all three nights walking on eggshells and couldn't wait to leave. Check-in was awful too. The male manager, who didn't give his name, was extremely rude about my pre-booking and payment, apparently the most inconvenient thing ever. He told me to wait outside instead of in reception while he looked up my room number. This has to be the worst motel in Queensland. I'm NEVER staying there again.

The manager, Alex, made a real difference during my stay. He was kind, helpful, and generous. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the location was convenient.

For $130 a night, it was a bed for the night, and the cleaners seemed to have phoned it in. There were pubes about. You’re asked to smoke five metres from the doorway to protect the place’s quality vibes, while the fridge smelled so strongly of vinegar I kinda got high from it. Pretty bold charging that price, though. I’ll give them five stars for that.

The room had a lovely layout, a comfortable temperature, and plenty of space to walk around. It was clean and very comfortable, with a good amount of coffee and milk, and a great price. I always stay at the kalua whenever I need to be in Bundaberg.

The team clearly takes pride in keeping the Kahlúa Motel clean and welcoming. My room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to help with anything I needed. The location is close to everything, with lots of good places to eat and grab a drink nearby. I absolutely loved my stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bundaberg.
