Oscar Motel

We stayed two nights to visit family. The room was clean and did what we needed, since we only used it for a shower and sleep. There was a decent-sized TV and aircon. I noticed there’s also a pool and guest laundry if needed, and an extra single bed in the room for a third person.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, but the accommodation itself was really disappointing. The traffic noise was constant and made it hard to sleep, the pillows were uncomfortable, and house cleaning woke me up rudely every morning. I book a hotel to stay in a decent room, not just to be greeted by friendly staff. It wasn’t restful at all, and I won’t stay here again.

A great little motel for a couple of nights, and handy for work. The rooms are clean, the pool is great, there’s on-site laundry, and food outlets are across the road. Zane’s customer service was exemplary. The TV remote batteries had failed, and when I went to reception it was closed. I called the number on the front door, and Zane said they’d left for the day, but suggested using the batteries from the aircon remote in the meantime. About ten minutes later, after I’d walked back to my room and done a few things, there was a knock at the door. Zane had come back from home with batteries for me. Who does that? Absolute gentleman. Looking forward to staying again.

It was perfect, I loved it so much. For the price it was really good, the rooms were perfect, and they gave us towels daily. The staff were very nice and the hotel was clean and neat.
