Baudins Bed & Breakfast - Adults Only

The place itself is excellent, thoughtfully set up, and very well equipped. Our room was beautiful and clean, with a spacious bathroom, fresh smell, quality towels and linen, and a kitchen with everything we needed. The washing machine and dryer were especially useful for a beach trip with a small suitcase. We really felt someone had put care into making guests comfortable. On the second-to-last day, though, the guests who had shared the house with us left and an older couple arrived. A different cleaner came that morning. Later, the couple found their bed had been made without changing the linen. There were visible hairs on the sheets and dust on the headboard, so they were understandably upset and uncomfortable sleeping there. We also noticed the kitchen rubbish hadn't been taken out, and the stove and counters hadn't been properly cleaned that day. It made us briefly wonder whether our own room had been thoroughly cleaned or just made to smell nice, although we genuinely think it had been prepared well. Lunch felt uncomfortable after the couple checked two other empty rooms and found the same thing, beds made without fresh sheets. This seems like an isolated problem with one staff member on one particular day. We'd absolutely recommend the accommodation, with the hope that housekeeping stays consistent whenever guests change.

The room was pretty simple, but quite big, and I really enjoyed my one-night stay. The TV was massive, maybe 75 inches? I watched YouTube before bed. There was also a free washer and dryer, which came in very handy on our trip.

The room was dusty and stuffy when we arrived, and the linen looked dirty and creased, as though it hadn't been changed after the previous guest. The carpet hadn't been cleaned properly either. We were very disappointed with the place. Communication was poor too: I messaged to ask about an earlier check-in after they emailed saying requests were possible, but nobody replied.

It's quiet, near the jetty and restaurants, and remains our favourite place to stay in Busselton. This time we booked the Master suite, which has a covered garage. Breakfast is simple but adequate, and it's always nice to have a cup of Nepresso coffee.
