I spent my honeymoon here in 1999 and hoped to return next March for my wedding anniversary. I had to cancel for personal reasons, which I know is my fault for not reading the small print, but they charged me a $200 cancellation fee. I've travelled all over the world and haven't come across a fee like that, except for a no show. I feel sick about it. Absolutely shameful. Beware.

We stayed in the Lifesaver House, and it was spacious, stylish, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great getaway. The location is hard to beat, peaceful while still close to everything. We even spent a couple of hours watching the sunrise and waves from the grass. We've kept thinking about our stay at Bluewater at Byron since leaving, and can't wait to return. We highly recommend it.
