We found the staff easy to deal with, and the food was decent. The Great Northern Hotel has a pub downstairs with accommodation above, which worked well for our family road trip stop. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there were food options for most dietary requirements. Just right for a night before getting back on the road.

The pub had a fun feel, and I was very happy to find a free jukebox. I also somehow won 4 out of 5 games on the magic pool table. Our room was clean, roomy and comfortable, and the shared facilities were excellent. Staff were lovely, meals were enjoyable, parking out the back was handy, and the river was a short walk away. We loved staying here on our trip to Melbourne. Thanks!

The food and drinks were great, and the margarita was delicious. We stayed overnight and had no complaints about the lovely, clean room or its new bathroom.

Amity was so friendly and professional. She checked with the kitchen about our meals and cleaned the table for us. She did a fantastic job, and it made for a great experience.

We go there for Nepalese food quite often, but lately it seems different. I'm not sure whether the Nepalese chef is still there.
