Byron BaySide Central Studio Apartments

We booked a last minute mother and daughter break at Byron Bayside and were glad we did. From arrival, the onsite managers were genuinely welcoming and gave us the information we needed. They even offered to help with our bags if we couldn’t manage them ourselves, a lovely gesture. Secure underground parking was another plus. Our room felt fresh, spotless and very comfortable. It looks as though it’s just been revamped, with a brand new bathroom and all the extras, plus a washer dryer combo for longer stays. The modern kitchen has everything for self catering, including a dishwasher. The beds were so comfortable that we slept brilliantly for all three nights, and the tucked away room had very little outside noise. We also enjoyed relaxing on the balcony in the afternoon sun. The location is hard to beat. We’ll definitely return, and I’d tell anyone to book here.

We stayed in number 17, a clean and tidy room with comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean and a good size, and had a washer dryer combo. The kitchen had a dishwasher and all the things you need. There was also a large outdoor balcony with a round table and four chairs. Lisa and Reco, the on site mangers, were lovely, friendly and helpful. If you like bats, number 17 is especially good: they’re across the road, and it was brilliant watching them return to sleep in the morning and head back out in the evening. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

Room 17 is a great corner room with an extra large terrace. I had a really good stay, and the place has the basic amenities I needed as well as excellent secure underground parking.

The room was comfortable enough, and the property is close to Byron’s main facilities. But the reception staff lectured my friends and me that, despite Byron being a great place to go out and meet people, we weren’t allowed to bring anyone back or party, and had to be quiet coming in because it was a quiet facility. We felt the speech was rude, judgemental and based on assumptions. We also saw the same staff check in a male guest without giving him that information, which really said it all. We had to ask for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The iron was broken, and there was mould on the ceiling.
