Frankies Beach House

We’ve stayed at Frankie’s four times in recent years and loved every holiday. The owner is always attentive when we have a question or request. It’s a special property, with a lovely alfresco deck and beautiful gardens. Being close to cafes, shops, Woolies, and the beach makes the location ideal. Highly recommend Frankie’s!

Four months before our arrival, the host abruptly cancelled our booking at Frankies beach house. They said they’d decided to raise the price from $5,000 to $12,477.00, which was way outside my holiday budget. We’d booked 13 months ahead for the 2023 Byron Bay Blues festival at the advertised rate. Eight of us now had no accommodation, even though we’d all bought flights, arranged time off work, hired a car, booked festival tickets and local restaurants, and paid for skydiving. The whole trip had been planned around this stay and within my budget. This has been the worst place and experience I’ve ever had to deal with. I hope people hear about it so another group doesn’t face the same kind of disappointment from such an unreliable and unprofessional host.

I paid a deposit and was told through Reshmai that I could rebook within 12 months after Covid. I’ve been trying to arrange that, but communication has been very unreliable and I still have no confirmed dates or refund. I’ve now had to involve Fair Trading because nobody responds.
