The owner put out a light breakfast with cereal, fruit, yogurt and some baked food. Such a sweet thing to do! There’s also a washer and dryer, which helped us a lot on our trip. The room was clean and tidy and made us feel at home straight away. The location is perfect, within walking distance of both the city centre and the beach. Thank you so much, we’d love to come back and stay longer next time!

We stayed in the Banksia room, away from the pool, with a patio facing the bush. It suited us perfectly, and the room had everything we needed. Veronica has thought of everything. Check-in was quick and easy, the kitchen was fully stocked, and nothing came with extra charges. Every day there was fresh bread, banana bread or fruit loaf, freshly cut fruit, a bowl of whole fruit, fresh orange juice and more. Highly recommend The Beach Shack. We’ll definitely be back.

Veronica was so welcoming and friendly, and we had a really nice stay. This is a lovely little hotel with beautiful rooms and a nice pool. She brought out freshly baked croissants, homemade pancakes and fresh fruit for the guests. We hadn’t expected the kitchen to be fully equipped with groceries and a coffee machine for making breakfast. Thanks again, Veronica, for the lovely experience!

Veronica is so sweet, adding personal touches and daily treats that make the stay feel special. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was ideal, only a five-minute bike ride into town.

Veronica welcomed us in bad weather even though she was injured, and her hospitality was so warm. The place is cute and roomy, and we appreciated having parking. The kitchen, drinks and breakfast supplies were complimentary. It felt like a home away from home.
