Hilton Cairns

I loved the water bottle filling station on every floor, a nice way to cut down on plastic waste. There weren’t many staff, but they did a great job organising everyone, even with the Chinese new year crowds. Our room was lovely, the bed very comfortable and the views spectacular. I also appreciated getting a text to check on us since we didn’t have cleaning service during our weekend at the Hilton.

We ordered a range of smaller dishes in the Hilton bar, and they were all good. The Karaage Chicken was a favourite, as were the pizzas. The waterfront view was amazing, and the service was friendly and efficient, with staff checking in regularly without hovering. Brylee was especially helpful, bubbly and attentive to our party, and Zak made excellent cocktails. It made for a lovely dining experience, and I’m already looking forward to going back.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the jetty boardwalk and town. We had a very good four-night stay at Hilton Cairns. Our room was a good size, very clean, and had a balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the city and mountains beyond. The king bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was good quality with something for all tastes. Anne, the manager, ran it very well.

We had a relaxing, memorable stay with our family at Hilton Cairns. Eena and Margaret deserve a special thank you, along with all the lovely staff, who were warm, friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable and peaceful after a day out, and the pool area was beautiful for unwinding. Right by the waterfront and close to everything, the hotel made exploring easy. The views were stunning in the morning and at sunset. We’d love to return.
