Having a washing machine and dryer was handy, and the reduced rates for a two or three day stay were a plus. The room had been renovated, but the bathroom was still in its original, shabby condition, and the bedding was worn and due for replacement. A dog in the neighboring unit barked day and night, which was irritating. Management told me it was coming from across the creek, but that clearly wasn't true and felt like a blatant lie. Paying guests shouldn't have to put up with a dog barking around the clock.

The pool area was lovely and clean, with a huge covered BBQ space, fridge and tables. Our small apartment was just right, with a kitchenette and laundry in the bathroom, and there was a big TV with Foxtel. It's a lovely spot, about a five-minute walk to the beach and facilities. The internet dropped out a few times one night, perhaps because footy was on. The so-called king bed was two singles pushed together, with little padding over the lumpy gap, so cuddling wasn't easy. We could have used more pillows too. Even so, we had a great stay and I'd happily come back and recommend it.

The apartment's layout was great, and it was roomy and cozy, with a washer and dryer in the bathroom and pretty much everything we needed. But looking closer was a shock. It was filthy and dusty, and there was a bad smell. Such a shame to let a place with so much going for it get this dirty. Even the broom and dustpan were too filthy to clean with.

Good value, and the place was quiet, clean and tidy. The lovely beach, a convenience store and restaurants were all a 10 to 15 minute walk away.
