Lakes And Craters Holiday Park

The park sits beside the botanical gardens, with plenty of space for dogs to run around. Some cafes in Camperdown offer takeaway deliveries too. We had an amazing Australia Day weekend here. There are shady, pet-friendly sites, a camp kitchen with a TV, microwave, toaster ovens and two push-button BBQs, plus cabins and a disability shower and toilet. The amenities were very clean, check-in was easy, and it was good value. Craig, his partner and the grounds staff were welcoming. One of the friendliest parks I’ve stayed at.

We stayed for two nights in February, when the weather was lovely and it wasn’t too busy. The park was nice and quiet, with lovely friendly staff and absolutely spotless amenities. It’s between two lakes and very close to the golf course. We had a big rig and plenty of room to park.

Craig, the park manager, was super helpful and suggested places to visit in the area. The park is lovely and green, with superbly clean amenities. During foul weather, it was a great place to stay with my van hooked up to power for two nights. The area felt very secure, with locked boom gates. Highly recommend as a base for fun travels and relaxing.

We love walking by the lakes and through the mini botanical garden next to the park, with its spectacular views. The ground was green, with tall trees giving us plenty of shade. Showers and toilets were new and clean, and the camp kitchen was rustic but tidy. Our relatives stayed in the cabins and were impressed by how clean and well maintained they were.
