We were happy with our stay and I'd recommend the hotel. It's right in the heart of Geelong, closest to the great carousel, and an easy walk to Eastern beach, cafes and parks. We stayed in a one-bedroom room on New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks, and the walk to the viewing location wasn't bad. I loved how fresh and clean the bed felt, and the wide sliding door opened onto a balcony overlooking the park. The room is apartment-like, with a kitchenette for heating food or quick cooking. There's a large fridge, a regular oven and a small cooktop, but bring your own pan and utensils. The bathroom is nice and big, the towels are soft and white, and the shower was clean enough that I showered barefoot. Bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap and slippers. We had secure parking inside the building once given the fob/card. You can park briefly at the front when checking in, then drive around back to reach the car park. We left the car there and walked to Westfield.

The room was clean, roomy and well equipped. The beds and pillows were warm and comfy, and the soft carpet looked new. Some rooms have a spa. It's a short stroll to the waterfront and Westfield, with the hotel at the south end of town near the Ferris wheel. Nice place to stay, and a good price.

Housekeeping found the purse we left in our room, and reception let us know. They returned all the cash inside too, honestly handled. The rooms were nice, and the location is handy for both shopping and the beach in Geelong. I'd look for better coffee than the attached cafe, though. Try Go Cafe, within a 5 minute walk.

I spent a night here recently and was really impressed as soon as I arrived. Spacious rooms, up to date furniture and appliances, comfortable beds and beautiful linen. I couldn't praise this motel enough and would highly recommend it for both comfort and position.

Our group had a lovely two-night stay. The rooms worked perfectly for two couples sharing, since each had its own separate area and entry, a clever setup. The decor was modern, the living area spacious, and the views over the water from our floor were amazing. If you can, it's worth paying extra for a view. Helpful, friendly staff too. Can't wait to stay next year.
