Anton at reception was especially accommodating, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is right in the centre, close to plenty of shops and restaurants, which made evening walks easy. We stayed for two nights and three days and had a very pleasant time. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the pool, jacuzzi and sauna were a big hit with the kids. Parking at the hotel is limited, but there are lots of options nearby, so it wasn't a major problem. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

The king room was clean and had the basic amenities I needed, plus plenty of power outlets for charging devices. As an Accor member, I also found a lovely welcome gift in the room, a thoughtful touch you don't often see these days. Reception staff were friendly and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. I'd stay here again.

We had a fantastic Canberra stay, and all the staff we met were lovely. The room was spotless and really comfortable, with a super comfy bed. My niece liked the sofa too. It wasn't made up when we arrived, but that was sorted quickly. There weren't any rubbish bags for the bins, though. We were on the second floor at the pool end. Roadwork noise didn't bother us at night, and there wasn't much noise when we got back in the afternoons. I wasn't keen on the restaurant menu, but the room service oz breaky roll was amazing. A bigger range of happy hour cocktails would be nice. The location is great. We stayed four nights over the Australia day long weekend in a one-bedroom executive room. Parking was my main complaint: some spaces are very tight, and twice I had to leave the car at city west, about a five-minute walk away.

Check-in went smoothly, even in the middle of the night, and my deposit was back on my debit card just two days after checkout. I'd happily stay again. The room was spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds, a smart TV and a pleasant feel. We didn't use the pool or gym, but everything else was spot on. Novotel Canberra is right by the main bus station, including routes to Victoria and NSW, which made getting around very easy. Canberra's main shopping centre is also within walking distance. There were roadworks outside during our January 2026 stay, but we couldn't hear them in the room.

The king room was a delight, spacious and airy. Room quality and service were good, as expected. Parking was a challenge, though we knew that beforehand. The hotel arranged a code for overnight parking in a lot five minutes away, so full marks for sorting out an alternative. The buffet breakfast could have tasted better, but it was acceptable.
