Balconies Dolphincove

We felt comfortable and relaxed here, and the fresh breakfast was delicious. Peter walked us through the details, and he was a great host. The garden with its wood statues was lovely, and the pool was fantastic. There are also plenty of good walking tracks nearby, plus the beach.

The morning walk to Tura Beach took about 10 mins, and the small cove by the headland was a good spot for a swim. Peter also shared helpful ideas for places to explore and eat nearby. There are some great local spots, and the pool was nice for an afternoon swim too. For a beach swim, stick to that small cove to avoid the gutter and small rips. We stayed in the King studio, which was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, including Molton Brown bath products. Peter and Katrina were both easy to deal with. They left us port and chocolates, then topped them up as well. Breakfast changed each day and was generous enough to get the day started. We'd booked three nights up to New Years Eve, and Peter was happy to add an extra night. It's a quiet place for couples, and we slept well. Would definitely recommend.

The food was excellent, and the gardens and tasteful art made the place feel lovely. It was private and clean, with little details that felt worth more than the room cost.

The breakfast setup worked well: choose from the menu the night before, which changes daily, then pick a delivery time for your suite. The property also has a large walk-in shower ensuite and a nicely landscaped heated pool. It's a short drive to Merimbula and other spots along the coast. Balconies Dolphincove was exactly the kind of accommodation I hoped for, and Peter & Katrina gave us great service. It really felt like a hidden gem on the Sapphire Coast. A handy driving tip: on Pacific Way, pass Balcones Dophincove on your left, make a U-turn at the roundabout, then use the second driveway to reach the parking area without taking the sharp left turn.
