Palm Penthouse Beach Court Holiday Villas

We booked at the last minute and got a great room for the price. Sarah was such a lovely host, she even gave us a bottle of champagne and bought us Hungry Jack's for breakfast. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed for four nights last week and loved it. It was peaceful, the facilities were great, and Airlie and the surrounding area were easy to get to. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful.

The villa had everything we needed, and the pool was great, so the cancelled tours due to bad weather didn't bother us too much. Sarah made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in, and gave us lots of recommendations. The main strip is close, with an easy bus ride or a cheap taxi. We loved our stay in Airlie Beach and would come back and recommend it to other travellers. Thanks, Sarah! :)

BED BUGS!!! These were bed bugs, not “midgees” as you claimed in your last Google review response. I’m a local from Qld and know the difference. The mattresses were stained with urine and had no protectors, despite what you said. The bugs were already there when we arrived. I did not bring them, whatever your staff tried to claim. There was black mould in the bathroom and on the blinds. It was the worst accommodation experience of my life. I was covered in bites, and instead of spending the weekend at the beach with my kids, we had to wash and heat treat all our belongings. I tried many times to contact staff and management by phone and email. No refund came, and there were more lies in the Google response. I waited two months for an email, a call, or a refund. If I’d received any of those, I wouldn’t be spending my time writing this. I knew you’d respond to this now that the public can see it. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT stay here!
