The quiet location and working air-con in the room were about the only real bright spots. The place was a little cleaner than I expected, and the staff did have a few positives to work with, but that didn’t come close to making up for the rest. After a day working outside in 43-degree heat, the dining room air-conditioning wasn’t working at dinner, which made it very uncomfortable. The pool was filthy, the toilet light kept flashing, and the balcony light had broken glass. Getting into the room was a hassle because the access cards barely worked. Even worse, the first room they assigned me was already occupied, which was an embarrassing security mistake. We’d paid for breakfast, lunch, and crib, but breakfast wasn’t included as expected. The TV had just three awful channels. For the price, that many problems are unacceptable. I won’t come back or recommend it. They need to improve maintenance, organisation, service, and basic care for guests.

It was a comfortable, basic motel in a handy spot for people passing through, but I wouldn’t stay again. There’s no heating equipment for meals, not even a microwave or other cooking option, so the ready meal I brought went uneaten. I also drove around town twice because the sign out front had a different name from the motel I’d booked. It was odd enough that I went in to check I had the right place. The manager seemed overworked and occupied with “doing service,” whatever that means.

I was there for work and enjoyed the week. They got the rooms completely mixed up at first, but sorted it out within 20 minutes.

Really good value, and we slept well in the comfy beds. The rooms were spotless and smelled lovely. It was late, but the staff went out of their way to let us cook and eat in the closed restaurant.
