Tailwaggers Rainforest Retreat

We stayed at Tailwaggers Retreat for a weekend with our two dogs, including a high maintenance Rottweiler who can be noisy. Travelling with them is usually hard because so many places aren't pet friendly, but Tailwaggers welcomed them inside the cabins and supplied bowls, beds and blankets. Each cabin also has a secure fenced yard. When our dogs made some noise back and forth with the neighbours' dogs, management quickly put material between the fences, which settled them both. We needed to be out for half a day, and management arranged safe, comfortable morning boarding at no charge. They clearly know dogs well and handled our big ones confidently. The grounds are immaculately kept, with large mowed open areas and lovely bush walks. There's a massive fenced off leash area with plenty of tennis balls and rackets for play. The rooms are very clean, with no sign that dogs regularly stay in them. The kitchen has everything needed to make good meals, so we didn't need takeout. Highly recommend for a break where you can still have puppy time.
