The bed was comfortable and the location was good. Cleanliness was somewhere in the middle, neither especially dirty nor particularly clean. The cleaners were pretty noisy in the morning, like they wanted guests out sooner. If you’re hoping to sleep in, this probably isn’t the place for you.

The location was great, and the man who checked us in was really nice. After that, things went downhill: the smoke alarm was missing, the dishes and cutlery were dirty and had been used, and there was no hot water at the ensuite sink. We also had no body wash, and the light outside our room didn’t work. When we checked out, I couldn’t reach anyone at the office to report any of it. We won’t be coming back.

We stayed with our Lions Club members for the Lions International convention. The rooms were very clean, and the Great River Walk was lovely in the morning. Town was about 10 minutes away. Most of all, thank you to the management and staff for making our stay so pleasant. I left my I pad behind, and they contacted me and offered to post it back. They sent it the same day, with no problem.

The reception guy was extremely helpful, friendly and polite. The rooms are very outdated, though, and the mattress definitely needs replacing.
