We were very disappointed and felt we’d wasted our money. The cottage is quaint, but cluttered and uncomfortable. Breakfast was meant to be self-cooked, yet it seemed very unhygienic. Bacon was loose in a Tupperware container, and the juice bottles looked as if previous guests had used them. What if they’d drunk straight from the bottles? We didn’t eat breakfast. The host also demanded payment in cash upfront.

I never got to stay. After I booked through Air BnB, the host said the place was already booked. These things happen, but the double booking took most of the day to sort out because the host seemed to have little idea how Air BnB works. During that process, the host was quite rude.

The beds were good, but the cute place felt very cramped and really cold.
