We had a comfortable long weekend at Barkers Run Terrace, three friends in all. The kitchen was well fitted out, though a platter and cheese knives would have been handy. We each had a lovely king bed with comfy bedding, and the bathrooms and toiletries were great. We got an hour on the balcony before the rain sent us inside to a very comfortable lounge room. The woodfire warmed the room quickly when we used it. A great place to stay in Castlemaine.

The balcony is very private, though there’s no view from it. This is a large, very clean, three-bedroom attached home in period style, with an underground garage. It’s on a Vicrail train line and just a 10-minute walk from the main street. Bring your own tea, coffee and plunger, as there’s no coffee machine or herbal tea provided.

We found it an easy walk to the main street and shopping precinct. The home was spotless and beautifully equipped, with modern furniture and really comfortable beds. Having heating in every room was much appreciated on the cold nights. Highly recommend.

Everything we needed was there, and it was all beautifully clean. We’ve just had another wonderful stay at Barkers Run Terrace, the accommodation with the blue door. This was our second visit, and we just love it. We’ll definitely be back.

We had everything we needed in a delightful setting at Barker's Run Terrace. It was a perfect home for a few days, and we enjoyed playing cards with friends around the dining table. We also knew help was there if we needed it. A wonderful stay.
