Treenbrook Cottages

The kids loved feeding the chickens and llamas, and we enjoyed the birds outside our windows in the mornings. There were beautiful walks around the property too. We wanted somewhere lovely, relaxing, and kid friendly near Pemberton, and this was just the place. The cottages were well cared for, with comfortable beds and living spaces, and the host was lovely. We’ll be back.

Esther was very friendly and answered our questions about the local area. It was a quiet place to stay, with a local walk into the karri forest and lots of birds around the property, and a good base for exploring the Pemberton surrounds. We stayed at Treenbrook Cottages for 6 nights on a family holiday. It was comfortable, and the small kitchen had what we needed for light meals, plus there was a good BBQ outside. The bathroom was basic but had everything we needed and reliable hot water. When the power went out, the backup power came on almost instantly, and the owner sent us a SMS to explain what had happened.

The location was really relaxing, and we felt at home as soon as we stepped into our mud brick cottage at Treenbrook. On a chilly evening, curling up on the very comfy sofas by the log burner was lovely. The bed was supremely comfortable too, and the kitchen had everything we needed for light meals. The bathroom was functional rather than luxurious, but that was fine for us.

The cottage was quiet and clean, and we enjoyed our stay for my son's 18th birthday. This was our 4th visit, twice since the new owner took over. The cottage looked much nicer this time, perhaps because of the indoor plants, bed linens, and cushions. I tidied up before leaving, as I always do. When we got home, my husband received an appreciation email from the owners, Esther and Steve, saying how clean the cottage was after we left. I’ve never had an appreciation email for tidying up before. It was so kind of them to send one. Thank you, we’ll come back again.
