We arrived late, but the fantastic host found availability and made sure we had great parking for our boat. The motel was beautiful, and our amazing room had loads of space, a comfy big bed and a huge bathroom. Can highly recommend the stay 😊

The lawns and gardens are neat, and the place is well laid out and obviously well maintained. Our room was spacious, well kept and nicely appointed. I’d recommend staying here. We didn’t try the restaurant, so can’t comment on it.

We had three meals at the restaurant. Two were awesome, but one was inedible. It was possibly the toughest steak I’ve ever had. It looked properly cooked, so I’m guessing it was a bad cut.

I’ve stayed here several times on my days off work, and I’ll definitely come back. The rooms I’ve had have always been clean, in good order and well maintained. Staff are friendly and professional, and the on-site restaurant serves delicious, filling meals. It’s easy to find just off the main road / highway, but traffic noise wasn’t an issue.

The staff were friendly and gave us helpful information about local attractions. Our room at The Gidgee Inn was large, with a very comfortable king bed. The shower had great pressure and good toiletries, and the smart TV had great reception. We could Chromecast our own streaming apps, and the internet was fast. Cloncurry also had great reception from our service provider, unlike some other outback towns. Staying here was a pleasure, and I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Cloncurry.
