The room was large and clean, and $160 a night seemed reasonable for an executive room with a spa. But after paying, I found a note saying the spa was out of order. I thought we could eat at the on-site restaurant instead, only to find it wasn’t open to guests because they were using it to feed workers from the opposite motel. If advertised amenities aren’t available, I think reducing the price would be reasonable.

Room 18 had the most powerful shower I’ve had in 30 years, strong enough to clean an engine block. Great place to stay.

What a disappointment for the price. It was supposedly an executive queen room, but you wouldn’t know it. The bed sagged and there was only one extra pillow. Apart from two mugs, there was no crockery or cutlery, so why have a microwave and toaster? The shower over the bath sprayed water everywhere, and the glass partition wouldn’t stay in place.
