We were stranded and needed somewhere for a couple of nights, and this place was affordable and comfortable. With rain coming down nonstop, the staff kindly let us check in early after storing our bags that morning. We had all our things with us and nowhere else to go, so it was a huge help.

The room was roomy and had good equipment, and the bed was comfortable. It’s a little dated, but perfectly fine.

The staff were great and we had no complaints about the room or our stay. The grounds, though, looked really neglected, with the lawn and gardens giving the place a tired, shabby feel. Owners, show some love to the place that earns you money and make a good first impression. You only get one chance at that 😉

I’ve stayed here many times. The rooms are clean, and the location is handy, with the pub right next door and takeaway across the road.

Once a few initial issues were sorted, the room was quite nice and laid out well. I wasn’t impressed with the staff side of things, though. Nobody explained the room setup, the charge-back option, or that the key had to go in a wall slot to turn on the lights. When I went to the office to ask about the lights, it took me ten minutes to track down a staff member. The room itself was good, but the staff could use better training.
