We won't be back. Both of the last two times we booked, the email said the office was staffed until 6, but when we arrived around 3 there was nobody on site to give us a key. The first time, someone answered the office phone right away and explained that a text with the key safe PIN should have arrived. It only came through after we'd managed to get into our room. This time we had to call several times before anyone picked up. He said he often gets calls from frustrated people trying to access their rooms. The emails need to say the office isn't staffed on Sunday, explain that the reservation number is the key safe PIN, and tell you which of the two PIN pad systems to use. They should also say to note the room number that flashes briefly on the screen, since it isn't printed on the key card the machine dispenses. Absolutely no customer service. What a joke.

The location was very convenient, and staff were friendly. We were glad to get complimentary muffins and tea or coffee. The room was spacious, with a decent sized fridge, comfortable beds and a well equipped bathroom.

Cross the bridge with a short walk and you're in the middle of town, with lots of good restaurants and the awesome Royal Hotel. My room was extremely quiet even though the motel is on a semi-main road. The room was great and the service amazing. I'll definitely stay at the Golden Age Motor Inn next time I'm in Queanbeyan.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the rooms were spacious, clean and had all the essentials. It's in a convenient spot. The road can get noisy at times, though I guess it depends which room you get. I'd recommend it for a visit to Canberra.

I've stayed at many hotels and motels on school tours of Canberra as a coach driver, and Golden Age Motor Inn gave us excellent accommodation, great food and outstanding service. Management and staff were top class and went beyond what I expected. Thanks for such great service. We'll be back.
