We had a good two-night stay at Sanctuary 4. It’s clean and tidy, and the location is close to lots of activities. This is self-catering accommodation. The only downside is that the nightly price feels steep.

Sanctuary 5 is a comfortable home with a lovely spot overlooking the water and super comfy beds. The kitchen is well equipped, and the heater kept things warm. There’s a steep driveway, but the access at the back door is nice and flat, so it wasn’t an issue. The queen bed had an electric blanket, but the single beds didn’t. The cleaner arrived just before check-out, which I found a bit rude.

We stayed at Sanctuary 4 around 27th June, in the middle of winter, and the weather was stunning. It’s a perfect place for a couple, with amazing views and a great location. We had a small booking hiccup, but the team sorted it out quickly and the service was exceptional. 10/10. Fingers crossed we can get it again sometime.

The location is great, and the views are wonderful, but the cabin felt tired and sparsely furnished, with unimaginative decor and very few toiletries. There was only a quarter of a Chux towel in the kitchen, and I found dirty dishes in the cupboard. The bathroom and laundry lights weren’t working when we arrived, and there’s no dishwasher, despite the STAYZS listing saying there was. The shower stall is very small, and the door is awkward to use. It wasn’t good value for money, though it’s OK if you’re desperate.
