The location was the only good thing. The rooms are really tired, with no air conditioning in the bedrooms. I reported the rotting carpet and filthy curtains, but was told they couldn't be cleaned. When I asked to move to another room, they said we'd be charged a cleaning fee. The decks are all being jackhammered down, with repair work expected to continue for the next two years. Very disappointing. I'll never return.

The room was huge and had everything we needed, with great amenities and friendly service. You can walk to just about everything, and the location couldn't be better, right opposite the beach and surf club. It badly needs an update, though, and probably hasn't been renovated in over 30 years. It isn't fancy or modern, which didn't bother me. The mattresses weren't great either, though that might just be personal preference. I'd still highly recommend it 👌

We loved our two-day stay. There were nice amenities, and in November it wasn't too crowded. It's close to the beach and surf club. I hope the area doesn't get over-commercialised and stays as it is. If so, I'd stay here again.

Onsite parking is a bonus, and the views of the beach are incredible. Coolum's main shopping street is right at your doorstep, so the location is amazing. The building is dated, and our apartment could use some modernising, especially the sofa and bed linen. It was fine overall, but don't expect a Club Med experience.

We got a complimentary upgrade to a two-bedroom room, so our son didn't have to sleep on a stretcher bed. It was clean, the view was absolutely amazing, and it was great value. Shops and restaurants are so close. Fantastic place to stay, and we'll definitely be back.
