Amazing Accommodations Vogue

Stayed here for four nights recently. Absolutely filthy, with stains all over the lounge and carpets and mould in the bathroom. Never again.

We were so disappointed and upset. We’d booked a family holiday for four, and after an 8.5-hour drive we were told there was no parking, even though the website says there is. Why advertise it when there are only 7 car parks for over 100 apartments? We were also only told on arrival, after asking, that the pool and spa were both out of service. They’d contacted us the day before to ask our arrival time and said nothing about it. One of my children has Autism and was very upset. He chose the place for the pool and spa, while I chose it because of the parking. We had to find somewhere else to stay. He couldn’t calm down and wasn’t going to stay there. We spoke with the manager, who was very rude and said it was our fault even though we’d done nothing wrong. Please find other accommodation. I don’t want anyone else to go through what we did.

The parking they promised wasn’t available when we arrived, and they told us to use Woolies for $25 every four hours. A week before our visit, we called and were promised the pool and spa were running. When we got there, both had been out of order for weeks. The man who was meant to book us in was really abusive and yelled at our son when he was upset about the pool. He said we could get a refund, but after we left he charged us for the apartment and has been abusive on the phone since. He told us he wasn’t the owner, then when we contacted booking.com, he was the owner. He keeps lying. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.

We weren’t given the rooms we’d booked, and they weren’t ready when we arrived, so we waited in the hallway while they were cleaned. They took us to the wrong room and went in, but it was already occupied. After check-in, someone also entered our room while we were out. The room was unclean, with water damage and mould throughout that caused a smell. Fixtures and fittings were broken or not working. I have photos to prove it, but I’m unable to post them. Would give them zero if I could.
