The sheets and towels seemed clean, which is why I’m giving it two stars. The rest really annoyed me. The bins in the room hadn’t been emptied, there was only ABC on the TV, no cutlery, and no Wi-Fi details, so I had to call. There was no information about where to eat or what was nearby either. Nobody was at reception during business hours, so you have to call a number when you arrive. I usually don’t review the cheaper places I use for work, even when they’re a bit dodgy, because you generally get what you pay for. But this place felt like so little effort had gone into it. The walls were paper thin, and I had to listen to the guy next door rip massive farts all night. Won’t be back.

The staff went above and beyond to find some lost property and return it. The rooms are spacious too, with a handy tiled entrance area for storing wet snow gear.

We’ll make this our regular Cooma stopover. Our room is large, clean, and quiet, and the bed is comfortable. The room facilities could use some improvement, though: there are two drinking glasses and one wine glass, just one knife and fork, and a toaster but no plates. Otherwise, it’s very good.

I was here for work and only needed a place to shower and sleep, so it did the job, especially at $100 for the night. It’s close to the city centre. The room decor is very dated.

The rooms are tired, and the restaurant and common area are closed. There’s nobody at reception, so you have to call a number and someone arrives soon after. I left my headphones in the room, but they said they weren’t there. That didn’t seem very honest.
