Coonamble Riverside Holiday Park

When an unexpected emergency changed my plans, cancelling the room was quick and easy. They were understanding and flexible, which made a difficult situation much less stressful. Other motels can make cancellations complicated, but this one handled it without any hassle. Great customer service, highly recommend.

The sites were level and shady, and with few travellers around, we had room to spread out. I’m guessing fuel prices may be keeping people away. Staff were helpful and friendly during our two-night site stay. I’d certainly return.

The place is well kept, with clean modern facilities and hot showers, and the owners are friendly and helpful. We noticed some firepits beside a building and asked if we could use one. No problem, they even carried them over because they’re quite heavy. We enjoyed our stay and would stop again, whether for a night or longer.

The park was clean and quiet, apart from the birds. I’d booked and paid ahead for a powered site, but woke to find my car completely covered in bird droppings from the nesting tree above it. It took literally an hour to clean off. A warning would have been appreciated, or they could have put me in another available site. There was no one at reception when I arrived, either.
