There are six double bedrooms and three living rooms, and the house is only 4m from a beach that's great for kids. We loved the location and sitting on the deck in the afternoon, watching dolphins go by. The house has it all, and we can’t wait to return to Sandy Point Beach House and enjoy Port Stephen’s again.
The kitchen had everything we needed, so cooking was easy, and the house had plenty of amenities for a comfortable visit. Its layout worked well for us, with bedrooms offering a mix of double and single beds that suits families, plus indoor and outdoor areas where we could relax. Nelson bay is about a five-minute drive away, or a lovely 15-minute walk along the beach path, with cafes, restaurants, bars and grocery stores there. The location was beautiful and convenient. I had a great time at Sandy Point Beach house and would highly recommend staying there.
The hosts made everything easy with clear check-in instructions and helpful local recommendations, and were quick to respond whenever we needed them. We felt welcome and well looked after. We spent most of our days on the beach, enjoying the sun and ocean views. Back at the house, the patio was a lovely place for bonfires and sunsets. The house was immaculate, nicely decorated and had all we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and roomy living spaces for our group to relax together. Sandy Point Beach House was a fantastic setting for a trip with friends, and we can't wait to come back.
We came home feeling refreshed and would gladly return. Sandy Point has direct beach access, with the ocean audible when we woke and the sand just steps away. The house was spotless, the beds very comfortable, and the thoughtful details made it easy to relax. It felt peaceful while still being a short distance from local places and amenities. A memorable stay, and one I'd recommend.
The house was spotless, stylish and well stocked, and we were struck by how peaceful and lovely it felt as soon as we arrived. My girlfriends and I came for a few days away from the city, and it was even better than we expected. We kept busy paddle boarding, kayaking and playing games, with plenty of time to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere too. The location was just right. We left refreshed and are already planning another visit. Absolutely recommend it, 100% worth it!
