We enjoyed the setting and the facilities, but the stay ended on a sour note. After we’d already paid a substantial amount, we were automatically charged a significant extra sum for a glass said to be missing and a cracked soap dispenser beside a bbq. I’d gladly have replaced them myself for a fraction of that cost. We won’t be back.

The place is in a lovely spot for a quiet weekend, but the sleeping arrangements were a real letdown. We asked the homeowner beforehand how many bedrooms there were and were told there’d be enough for everyone. Instead, we got a “room” made with dividing panels that didn’t meet, so there was no privacy, and the double bed was as hard as a rock. Other family members were unhappy too. For the price, it wasn’t worth it, and we won’t return.

The views, pool area and backyard are lovely, but there’s no other entertainment for kids unless they bring something themselves. I paid more than $2000 for two solid nights at the Moonburra house. My bed was one of the two 'queen sleeper couches', and it was literally solid. I was so glad to get back to my soft bed at home.

The house looked stunning and worked perfectly for our function, with several overnight guests as well. The owners were wonderful. We’ll be back!

So green and quiet right now, and everything’s neat and tidy. There are birds, chooks, sheep and horses to hear, plus more birds. Just look at the photo, though it can’t show you the sounds. If you’re after a getaway, this is the place.💃🎶🎭
