Ball Park Caravan Park

The shower was exceptional, and the amenities were very clean, though a little dated. We stayed in our campervan, close to the river, town and walking tracks.

That Murray River frontage is beautiful and was easily the best part of our trip to Ball Park Caravan Park in Corowa. The location drew us in, but the park itself needs work, especially for what a powered site costs. We had hoped to love it, but will look at other places next time unless management makes improvements. The biggest problem for us was the amenities block. It seemed to serve 30 or more powered sites with only two toilets and two showers, so queues built up at busy times in the morning and evening. There were also very few rubbish bins for the powered caravan sites. Our site was uneven, and getting the van level took lots of extra blocks. The grounds felt poorly kept, and the water connection points were faulty, making it hard to get a reliable supply. The setting has real potential, but the facilities and upkeep didn’t match it.

We had to leave because something came up, and despite travelling a lot, we’d never had trouble getting a refund before. We were told refunds weren’t given under the policy, and the woman wasn’t kind about it. She could at least have offered half back. I won’t return. Some customer service and a smile would have helped.
