Glen Lough Cabins

We spent two nights there over New Year, and it was just right for a relaxed break. The cabins are modern and sit in a beautiful spot. A nice surprise was finding the fridge stocked with fresh bread, eggs, milk, jams and more. It made a great few-day stop before we headed back down to Sydney.

The bathroom really stood out, especially since that can be the most important space in an accessible cabin. It was unbelievable, and the whole place had all the little things you might need. Sheila & Pat have created something well beyond other accessible places I’ve stayed in. We were the first guests in this cabin, and it’s a beautiful space. Stay here, take in the outlook, explore the area and enjoy the hospitality. You won’t be sorry.

The cabins are gorgeous and so well looked after, and our little fur baby was thrilled with the treats and fireplace. We spent days wandering around Sheila & Pats property, tried Pats homemade smoked cheese, and even came across the original owners' resting place and plaque at their private lookout. It feels like a little slice of heaven, and you don't have to leave the property if you don't want to. A few days here is an affordable way to get out of the rat race and recharge.

Bushland, peace and quiet, a fireplace and red wine made for a getaway I won't forget. Sheila and Pat have created such a haven, and there are thoughtful touches everywhere, with all your needs taken care of. The hosts go above and beyond to make the stay memorable. I can't wait to return to Glen Lough. Thanks again, Shelia and Pat, you're amazing!
